Currently, British artist, Mark Robinson is working on the 2015/16 portrait collection of ‘International Golf Stars’. The British artist has also just completed a new series of ‘Landscape’ painting tutorials. “I decided that I needed a change of scenery and returned home to paint familiar scenes. To advise others on subjects creative I believe that the tutor must be comfortable with the subject and what is more comforting than being home”.
He is currently based in the UK having spent over twenty years painting in and around Dubai & the UAE. A series of Golf Landscapes celebrating the MENA region will be completed in the New Year.

Mark Robinson was the European Tour, ‘Artist In residence’, for the season ending final ‘Race to Dubai’ from 2009 to 2014. His work at the DP World Tour Championship has been collected by Art and ‘Golf Lovers’, Worldwide. The Landscapes, documenting the flnal moments of each year, are highly collectable. A limited edition print collection entitled the, ‘Race To Dubai Finals’, will be available in 2016.

Mark Robinson’s portraits can be ordered on a commission “‘Swing Portrait’ commissions have been a hit with Golfers, excuse the pun. Working from photo reference of the golfer’s favorite ‘Swing Pose’, I paint a contemporary portrait to fit with the interior decoration of the client’s home. I have also been commissioned to paint other sporting stars including Rugby and Tennis professionals. I’m happy with painting family or personality portraits also”.

Mark was recently commissioned again by the European Tour to paint a portrait of Ivor Robson, the famous announcer at The Open and prestigious European Tour events for over forty years. The painting, showing Ivor and Rory McIlroy on the 1st Tee at the 2014 DP World Tour championship, was presented by the CEO of the European Tour and the Players at the 2015 DP World Tour Championship, Ivor’s last before retirement.

Mark’s original portraits and prints are collected by Pro and Club Golfers, Worldwide.
