Hidden Secrets: The Art of the Himalayas and the Mountains of Millbrook
This weekend make sure to visit the exhibit Hidden Secrets: The Art of the Himalayas and the Mountains of Millbrook at the internationally acclaimed Gallery Hirondelle, home and studio of John and Cannon Hersey, son and grandson of Pulitzer-Prize winning writer John Richard Hersey. John Hersey is in the collection of the Norton Museum of Art in Palm Beach among many others, and Cannon has recently had a museum retrospective at MoCADA in 2009 and exhibited at the Sao Paolo Bienale in 2008.
This weekend’s exhibit also features contemporary clothing designs from Nepal by Yasmine Rana. On Saturday at 6pm, Alison Granucci will perform a solo dance: Private Devotions.
