Gerard Keenan is an award winning photographer from Galway, Ireland, and has been taking photographs for thirteen years. His speciality is Fine Art black and white images.

He has a minimalist style including only the bare minimum in his images which he feels exposes the soul of the subject. Having grown up on a farm in the west of Ireland he has a deep connection to animals and nature and sees horses as one of the marvels of creation who give man much joy and fascination.

In the past he has worked as a photojournalist with national newspapers in Ireland. His work has appeared in numerous publications and is in private collections and also with a number of Celebrity buyers. Among publications are ‘Equestrio Arabia in Dubai’, Black and White Magazine UK, Black and White Magazine US and ‘Soura Magazine’ Middle East.
