Conrad, Stephania
American Contemporary
Stephania Conrad has been sculpting, painting and drawing for more than 30 years. Her pieces have been shown at Joanne Coia Gallery, the Norton Museum of Art, embassies in Washington, D.C. as well as private collections in Palm Beach, New York City, Jackson Hole, and Eleuthera, Bahamas. Described as “idealized realism,” Stephania’s bronzes capture the human form in its most natural, raw and vulnerable state. Like the artist herself, they seek to show, not preach, representing beauty without judgment.
Stephania received her MFA from Pratt Institute and her BA from Brown University. She now spends her time between WY and FL, working on her artwork and using her two daughters and dog (“Teddy”) as subjects whenever possible.
