Swiss Contemporary

For as long as we humans have been around, the convictions we follow and the descriptions of all things around us have been produced by certain people, only to  be overturned and presented in a different light tomorrow by somebody else.

The illusion, free will and change is ever present on the world scene and these notions always play the same game and eventually return to their original form.

Many different shades hide behind these notions. This gives me, as an observer, a new challenge to make them visible, using colors and canvas. Limitless freedom of visual expression, description of things, which up until this point have not been discussed or described in this way, arises from a simple way of thinking about the facts, regarding the current state of the world.

My task at hand is to make these thoughts visible, to transform them and make them universally understandable, to take all the components and combine them on the surface area of the canvas or paper, to position the elements in a precise chronological order and allow for logical interpretation of events. When all this is accomplished, and the art piece created presents a clear and concise answer for the state of things at that particular moment, then my task takes on a form of a job well done.

Endless number of colors and forms allow me to invisibly change the reality and make it flow into a new starting point, thus making it possible for the observer to create their own interpretation of what they see.  And so… the poetry of life goes on…
