Irish Contemporary

Ken Stewart is an Irish equestrian artist who specialises in horse portraits and Irish hunting, racing and sporting art.

He has exibited in the Mall Galleries, London for several years, Christies and in numerous galleries and exhibitions throughout Ireland. In addition, he has won several awards including Horse and Hound Best Racing Picture 2010 and Best Sporting Picture 2003 at the UK  Society of Equestrian Artists annuual exhibitions and a national award for portraiture sponsored by Nancy Komiskey.

Ken has combined his talent for portraiture with his skills as an equestrian artist to create unique commissions for over 40 years. He is able to paint to your specifications and is happy to use his experience to personalise your portrait.
