A horse head with its mouth agape and eyes wide open as if in full stride is the latest example of wearable art by the accomplished and prominent sculptor and art jeweler, Christopher Ross.
Available in exquisitely crafted 24k gold and sterling silver, it is an Objet d’art designed to be worn on a belt of walnut brown calfskin for men or a blue snakeskin for women.
New York native Christopher Ross envisioned a belt as a jewel destined to become an heirloom. Each numbered piece is stamped with the artist’s signature, thumb print, date and copyright.
Notable collectors include The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Yale Art Gallery, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Great Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg, Russia, and the National Museums of Scotland in Edinburgh.
Christopher Ross’s art to wear are eye catching and unmistakable expressions of individuality and discerning taste.

A message from Cricket Burns:
Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to announce our partnership with the renowned Chisholm Gallery in Palm Beach, Florida. Together, Jeannie Chisholm and I have been curating collections for the CricketsCrush client.
Some of the artists we will be representing on the site will include notable equestrian artist Henry Koehler, captivating fused glass mosaics by Vanessa Somers Vreeland (daughter-in-law of famed Vogue editor Diana Vreeland), and portraiture by iconic fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo, just to name a few.
We are currently collaborating with Ms. Chisholm to produce new segments for our web series, “Is It For Sale?”, interviewing select featured artists. So stay tuned.
CricketsCrush is having a pop-up estate sale in Southampton, New York, for the summer months. If you find yourself in the Hamptons, please do come visit.
Enjoy the summer and be sure to shop The Chisholm Gallery on CricketsCrush.com
