Jane Dunn is an English artist who studied in London at the Chelsea School of Art and in Florence at the Studio of Sinora Simi.
Before taking up art as a career she had hunted and ridden professionally in steeplechases and combined events all over England and it is here she developed her keen eye for equine portrayal.
Shortly after her marriage the family moved to central France to farm. Surrounded by some of Europe’s great gardens, to the north the chateaux of the Loire, the East the great vineyards of Burgundy with their grand domains it was not surprising that they became a passion and now she spends a great part of the year travelling around Europe looking for gardens to paint.
The family moved again and now Jane lives with her husband and six children in their family chateau just outside Prague.
Jane regularly exhibits in London and France.
