Isidore Jules Bonheur, (French, 1827-1901): Two extraordinary new bronzes on offer! Cavalier Louis XV & Le Grand Jockey. Le Grand Jockey was cast in four different sizes. It is rare to find examples of this large 38″(95cm) size. This image of a victorious jockey performing a congratulatory pat to his horse’s neck is Bonheur’s most well-known work.
